Kellertrüb mit feiner Hefe. Unfiltriertes Bier mit langer Geschichte. Unser Lagerbier beruht auf der alten Tradition der Hausbrauerbiere. Jeder Landwirt, der ein Braurecht besaß, konnte sich früher von seiner selbst angebauten Gerste und seinem Hopfen bei uns sein eigenes Bier brauen lassen. Ausgebaut und gelagert wurde dieses Bier dann in den Felsenkellern auf dem Bauernhof. Daher der Name Lagerbier. Getrunken wurde dieses Bier vor allem im Sommer, bei der Ernte oder direkt auf dem Keller aus dem kühlen Steinkrug. In anderen Regionen heißt dieses Bier auch Kellerbier. Unser Lager ist ein bernsteinfarbenes, süffiges Bier mit würzig-kräuterartigem Aroma und ausgewogener Hopfennote. Die angenehm reduzierte Kohlensäure erhöht die Drinkability.

Peacharoma and flavor. Rather neutral flavor with just a hint of hops. Fairly thin. Unremarkable beer.

Bottle from Hopfen & Malz. Yeasty, estery, malty nose. Nuts, biscuits, light apricot. Very cloudy golden orange with lace. Toasty, malty, nutty flavor with stone fruit and a bit of citrus. Somewhat sherbet like. Rich, malty, spicy, low carbonation. Like it.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas are metallic, corn, sugar. Taste is light sweet, more metals, cooked corn. Medium body, bit sticky.

Piwo smaczne lecz nie nazwałbym go kellerbierem lecz lagerem długo leżakowanymn w piwnicy. Piwo jest filtrowane, ale naturalne aromaty są wyczuwalne dość wyraźnie. Kolor nie przypomina jasnych masowych lagerów tylko czeskie lezaki. Piana dobra i trzyma się długo

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. BB 08/2011. Poured golden color with a frothy steady head. Aroma is grass and hay, flavor pretty much the same, some sweetness also. Overall very crisp and nice brew. Medium bodied.
