Draft at Cafe Derat, Utrecht. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, toffee, earthy, light liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not my favourite style but I did enjoy this.

Very dark brown colour with lasting head. Nice malty taste with a touch of almost burnt caramel. Good session beer.
