After fermentation completed, we transferred our Farmhouse Ale into used oak wine barrels where an unusual brewing microbe was living: Brettanomyces. Brettanomyces take the spicy, lemony flavors and aromas of the Farmhouse ale and transmutes them into something funkier. Brett Farmhouse is golden with a white head, earthy aromas of hay, flowers, and soft, earthy funk, and a dry-as-bone finish.

Horseblanket/barnyard, lemon, biscuit malt, and hay aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet orange, lemon, biscuit malt, moderately sour Brett, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Tasty.
