Can from Tick Beer. Clear gold with moderate sized white head, leaves nice lacing. Aroma is grassy, earthy, citrus and resin. Taste of mineral water infused with lemon drop sweets, somewhat dry. Pleasant enough but ultimately unsatisfying for an IPA. Slight chewiness to the medium body.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a hazy (very slowly clearing) golden brown with a sizeable off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has autumn fruits and marmalade. In the mouth there is an instant sharpness, with generic citrus, lemon, grapefruit and melon. Finish is bitter with just a little of the anticipated stickiness. I didn’t expect to like this at all, but it’s a decent IPA.

Cloudy dark blond colour with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have something of boiled sweet root vegetables so maybe some problem with DMS in this brew. The citra hops do kick in and help a lot
