8,5% on the label. Amber color, hazy. Grapefruit, blackcurrant and cascade hops in the aroma. Malty sweet and alcoholic. Oily hops, grapefruit and mango. Red berries. Very tasty barley wine, pleasant and full of character. Good balance.

Cloudy amber color; thick creamy head; nice lace. Aroma of malt, fruits, flowers; short. Medium malty taste, correct bitterness, bitter oranges; but also a light astringency and too much bitterness given by the start of an infection.

Bottle - thanks to Lut and Joris for sharing.
Amber, murky body. Off-white head. Very refined aroma of fine malts and hops. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. Quite complex, well-balanced flavour. Nice by a rather simplicity.

Fully hazy dull amber with small head, leaving some lace. Powerful dry fresh C-hops nose, hopbails. Faraway some smoked, dry meat, and smoked grain. Liquorice, malt syrup and an indestructible hopsflavour make out the taste. Sweetness goes from liquorice to full maltose, and restsugars. Not really bitter, but very balanced. Very thick, nearly chewy MF. Alcohol is detectable, but discreet. Very good pseudo-American Danish "big" beer. But once more, very well conceived.
