Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with a small foamy white head and good lacing. Thereโs lashing of grapefruit in the nose, plus a touch of generic citrus. Grapefruit to the for again in the mouth โ but more of the sweet, tinned variety. Texture is creamy. Later some sticky pine resin comes through and this dominates the dry finish. Reasonable โ better than I feared from the description anyway.

Hazy straw blond colour with thin head. Obviously pack with tart and bitter pink grapefruit. Delivers.
