500ml bottle. Hazy dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, off-white head. Spicy yeasty and wheat malty aroma, some mandarine and pepper. Taste is minimally sweet wheat malty, minimally tart, hints of sweet bread, mandarine, some lemon.

Pours cloudy orange/golden with thick fluffy head (what did you expect?) Aroma of banana and bubble gum, etc. (Again, what did you expect?) taste, ditto, slight chalky finsh. Decent.

Aroma is fruity and spicy hops, touch of malt. Flavour is quite bitter with citrus, lemon and some wheat.

Mild hefiger Beginn. Das Weizen bleibt leider auch im Mittelteil laff, die Hefigkeit wird etwas dunkler. Dann noch milder, nur eine geringe Herbe ist noch vorhanden. Keine Fruchtigkeit, keine sonstige Würzigkeit. Wirklich langweilig. 10/6/7/7/11/6

bottle from the brewery. Cloudy brownish yellow colour, large off-white head. Whetay, sourish, light malty body, hints of cider apples. Refreshing and rather nice.

(bottle) Hazy, deep orange to amber colour with a huge and persistent off-white foamy head. Sweet malty and sourish wheaty aroma with restrained fruity (banana) notes but strong phenolic (cloves, nutmeg) spices. Slightly tart and bitter flavour with a mild malty sweetness, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Moderately wheaty and fruity taste with cloves and a shy tinge of hops; sourish and slightly tart yeasty and hop bitter finish. A tad too spicy for my liking, otherwise a decent Ur-Weisse (07.VIII.09).

Bottle (by kind permission of joss !) Hazy, amber coloured, yeasty-wheaty nose with a sourish clovey touch, quite stable small foamy layer; moderate sweet fruity-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly acidic finish with a touch of yeast. O.K., not earth-shaking........

Bottle. Dark cloudy amber, golden head, plentiful carbonation. Bready and clovelike aroma with a few tart grain notes. Ryebread base, banana and fish-sauce flavoring for some reason - in fact I suddenly feel like having Thai food tonight. Good chewy body, sparkly mouthfeel. Bread and banana aftertaste.
