Black with quick fading head and fine but lasting carbonation. Aroma of booze soaked wood. Actually almost like a Barley Wine with notes of sherry and dried fruits. Nothing in the aroma to suggest it's a stout. The raisins and sherry continue in the flavour but there's also a dark chocolate note and a gentle roasted malt bitterness.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks tiong, at Arde, 20221021) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, burnt sugar and ash. Palate was full bodied and sticky sweet with medium carbonation. Flavours were dark chocolate, sweetness, ash, cocoa powder and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy, ashy and bitter. An unbalanced burnt brew with sweet and boozy notes.

Bottled 330ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb, shared with hrabren. Pitch black coloured, minimal brownish head, wood chocolate and alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, light roasty, dried fruits, some licorice, notes of chocolate and caramel with surprisingly hidden alcohol. Bit sweet but not bad at all.

0.33 l bottle shared with Ogi at Ambasada, Zagreb. Oily dark brown to black, minimal head. Intense roasty and oak aroma, chocolate, molasses, dried fruit. Some alcohol, some lacquer, cocoa. Heavy, oily, caramel, chocolate, dried fruit, roasted peanuts or other nuts. Liquer-like. Quite sweet. Good roasty counterbalance. Warming. Moderate finish.

Bottle at home. Opaque black color, virtually no head. Aroma is alcohol, malts, cocoa and surprisingly piney and spruce notes. Flavor is malts, boozy again, sweet as well, sugary, heavy. Hmm not as much cocoa in the flavor tbh. Boozy, sweet and heavy. Hmm too heavy for me tbh.

Svart med brunt skum. Lukter røstet malt, kaffe og sjokolade. Meget fyldig og søt. Smaker sjokolade, karamell, kaffe. Nødingen.
