Blackcurrant IPA. Ingredients - Extra pale malt, Oats, Hops (Azacca, Citra, Idaho 7), yeast & Blackcurrent Pure.
Purple in colour from the addition of pure which also brings the intense flavours from Blackcurrent just like the top of a fruit pastilles lolly ice.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7
Clear purple colour with thin head. Aroma of sweet blackcurrant and leafy hops. Flavour is quite bitter. The sweet and sour element from the blackcurrant is nice but there seems to be an additional level of pithy bitterness, perhaps from the blackcurrant pits.
