Tap in a Bamberger Kneipe 0,5ltr:Golden coloured Pilsener its have sweet softness over it, and also soft bitter finish.

Frothy head, disappearing slowly. Deep golden color. Hay-like hoppy aroma, just a bit flowery. Malty flavor, but also with a strong hopcharacter. Hay. Strong hopbitter aftertaste that fades away slowly.

Aromatisch hopfiger Antrunk, vollmundig und leicht bitter. Im Mittelteil etwas grasig, weiter ist der Hopfen aromatisch und durch seine Intensität unangefochten führend. Nach und nach etwas bitterer werdend aber erst im Abgang übertrifft diese Note die des Hopfen Das Malz spielt hier immerhin eine untergeordnete Rolle, kommt aber noch dem abflauen des Hopfens etwas mehr ans Licht. Draught in Veilbronn. Clear golden, small head. Buttery nose with some diacetyl. Medium sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Notes of grass, but generally lacking in hops. Medium bitterness. The lagerbiers from Maisel seem all to be sub par by Bamberg standards.

Draught @ Maisel Keller, Bamberg, Germany. Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy / creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, toffee, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle from REWE, Bamberg. Pale gold with a slight white head. Aroma was of grain and hay. Flavour had some sweet malt and a bitter finish. Ok.

Draft. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of grain. The flavor is sweet malty and also with a light touch of grain, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, medium-sized fluffy white head; sweet malty, a bit cardboardy nose with some grassy (caused by extracts ??) hoppiness; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; grassy, metallic finish. Disappointing, by franconian standards.............
