Das feinherbe und spritzige Spitzenbier. In klassischer Herstellung kalt gereift und lange gelagert. Charaktervoll im Geschmack, ganz wie es die echten Pilskenner lieben.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts hoppy, not too dry. Woody notes in the background. Fresh-hoppy finish, also a bit grasy. Good!

Draught: Poured a clear golden color with a thin white head. The aroma was sweet with a grassy harvest smell. The taste was quite nice with a grain and hoppiness.

300ml von Fass at a pizza place in Trier. Clear, straw body. Low-level foam. Grassy aroma with lemon notes. Citric taste with notes of hops. Dry ending. Lively carbonated and moderate palate (not as thin bodied as the Norwegian pilsener) (12.09.2007).
