Bottle. Dark amber with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel and light roasted malts. Flavour is malt, light roasted malts, chocolate, medium sweet, little toffee and medium nutty.

Bottle. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich malt, caramel, nuts, fruits and hops. Full bodied and soft carbonated.

bottle, donated by pivnizub - díky! Deep brown colour, large off-white head. Full-bodied, lots of raisins, dates and caramel, hints of dark chocolate. Alcohol shows a little presence, too.

Bottle from supermarket, Wiesbaden. Chestnut color with huge beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, hints of dark fruit. Taste, roasted malt, dark chocolate, toffee, berries. Body is too light for so high ABV. Sweet syrupy finish. Drinkable.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes malty and strong, becomes not penetrating. Finish is a little bit alcoholic. Very drinkable and good doppelbock!

Bottle Clear, deep brown body. Lightly brown, creamy head. Sweet aroma of liquor, sweet malts. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour with some fruitiness. Not very complex. Ok balance. Medium bodied.

Süßer Malzantrunk. Eine dezente Fruchtigkeit tritt ebenfalls auf und ist auch im Mittelteil noch präsent. Vor allem aber ist der Alkohol herauszuschmecken, der mich, anders als die meisten Tester hier, kaum stört. Überzeugen kann mich der Nachgeschmack in dem das Bier unglaublichmalzig wird, karamellmalzig, schokoladig, zart. Kann ich mir wieder vorstellen! Bottle, 7.5%. Nicely malty flavour with a good pepperiness. Slightly oxidized, just enough so that it is good. Warming alcohol.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, reddish brown with a small, creamy, beige head. Strong aroma of roasted malt. Solid and very full body with lots of delicate, roasted malt accents. Slightly perfumy somehow - not really what you’d expect in a German beer. Discreet bitterness. 210906 and 291206
