A rebrew of our ever-popular dark beer - one of the first we ever brewed back in 2018! A malt base laden with oats (what better way to start the day!) provides a thick, luscious body to this delicious stout. The aroma is espresso, coffee grounds and a touch of dark chocolate.
Huge additions of Benedict Blend coffee from Old Spike Roaster. on both the hot and cold side give the beer a rich, deep roast coffee flavour balanced with a pleasant bitterness.

From tap at Little Faith taproom in Deptford, London, 31.07.22. Dark brown to ebony. Beige head and lacing. Refreshing aroma and taste of americano, grapefruit, pine shoots, dark chocolate, vanilla and roasted barley. Crisp mouthfeel. Well balanced and very drinkable!

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, Bermondsey. Instant Coffee aroma. Opaque red tinted cola brown. Creamy beige head. Sweet molasses and cream. Underlying coffee. Light bodied. Thin..Fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Decent enough if lightweight.

Keg at Hackney Church. Thanks to Chisso. A mostly clear dark brown chestnut coloured pour with a fine mid tan head. Aroma is American, brown sugars, brandy snap, earthy brown sugars, cinnamon. Flavour is composed of, dry brown sugars, cinnamon, woody coffee, hint of vanilla, green coffee bean. Palate is semi sweet, dry and clean, moderate carbonation. Nice complexity.
