Bottle, 5.2%. Mild banana aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Big white head, seems OK stable. The flavour has some OK banana, not overripe. Quite high bitterness, a bit rough, which does not suit a wheat beer in my opinion.

50 cL bottle, trade with Maria. Pours hazy yellow with a slowly collapsing chalkwhite and creamy head. Fruity wheat ester aroma. Flavour is mild fruity, banana and orange. Light yeasty and with a dry wheat note following. Dry and fruity ester finish.

Bottled from REWE, Bamberg. Pale yellow colour with a striking white head. Aroma was predominately yeasty with some cloves. Flavour was pleasantly tart for a wheat beer with grapefruit prominent. Refreshingly different.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy golden with a tall, dense, white head. Distinct aroma of yeast and citrus. Medium body with sweet, malty accents and lots of yeast, citrus and cloves. Very fresh and quaffable. Courtesy of Dalle. 120207

(bottle, from the brewery) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Slightly sweet, slightly sour wheat-malty aroma, yeasty, citric at first and light notes of banana when it warms. Sour-sweet flavour, rather smooth carbonation for a Weizen. Slightly sweet wheaty and sour-fruity taste; dry and slightly tart finish with clovy spice. Very refreshing.

Yeasty earth aroma, perfumed clove. Pale cloudy yellow, fluffy white head. Banana and clove, with emphasis on the clove, hint of burned sugar. Medium to light body. Dry clove exit. I find the difference between the typical banana/bubblegum Weizen of southern Bavaria in contrast to the drier clove and citrus weissbier of Franconia quite interresting.
