(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy golden with a tall, dense, white head. Distinct aroma of yeast and citrus. Medium body with sweet, malty accents and lots of yeast, citrus and cloves. Very fresh and quaffable. Courtesy of Dalle. 120207

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of bananas and oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and banana, but the body is thin.

(bottle, from the brewery) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Slightly sweet, slightly sour wheat-malty aroma, yeasty, citric at first and light notes of banana when it warms. Sour-sweet flavour, rather smooth carbonation for a Weizen. Slightly sweet wheaty and sour-fruity taste; dry and slightly tart finish with clovy spice. Very refreshing.

Yeasty earth aroma, perfumed clove. Pale cloudy yellow, fluffy white head. Banana and clove, with emphasis on the clove, hint of burned sugar. Medium to light body. Dry clove exit. I find the difference between the typical banana/bubblegum Weizen of southern Bavaria in contrast to the drier clove and citrus weissbier of Franconia quite interresting.

Draught Hazy peach orange colour; good, very white head. Banana nose and lots of clove, sweet white wood (not liquorice). Sweetish, fruity (but difficult to say what), and a truckload of fresh cloves, ending bitterish. Eugenol, clovesgum. Medium bodied, typical wheat slickness. Just a tad too clovey for me, like X-mas perfume, Joss says. But nice all the same.

Cloudy golden color, big head. Aroma of yeast and wheat, bit dry, some banana. Taste is quite sweet, bit milky indeed. Nothing special about this one.

Bottled. Pale yellow, cloudy. Banana aroma. Sweet and soft. Typical classic hefeweizen, but nothing outstanding.
