500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Lemon, lime and hay in the aroma. Crisp and clean taste with citrus, tea and some grassy notes. Refreshing.

Very pale golden color. Quick disappaiting white head. Lots of carbonation showing in the glass. Modestly grassy nose but with a modest amount of sweetness. The mouth is sweet with good aggressively bitter hops but again the underlying sweetness makes things a touch less attractive. Mildly grassy dry finish. Middle of the road

June 2025 full update: clear golden colour, medium sized white head, nice retention and some lacing. Fresh, averagely intense aroma: lightest hay/grainy base, a honey note in the background, soapy notes with lemonish hints, fresh grassiness. Quite bright in taste too. Pretty intense in both sweetness and bitterness for a german pilsner, with a slight sweet edge in the mouth and a dry enough, cleansing finish; overall, i guess slightly on the sweet side for the style. Taste notes as per aroma. Light to medium body, average carbonation; quite lively in the mouth, still enough of an easy drinker. Nice one on the overall; classic german pilsner notes but quite amped up structure (sweetness/bitterness and carbonation). Kind of a bavarian soul in a czech body.

Bottle from a REWE in Bamberg. Golden in colour, with a lacy, white, head. Aroma of flinty minerals, lemon and a touch of hay. Easy, fruity, drinking with a solid malt base and lingering, bitter, finish. Good.

Bamberg Bash Day 3. Bottle at Munich Airport. Clear gold beer, fluffy white head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Light pale malt, slightly nutty. Mellow bitter floralness. Little peel. Semi dry finish with a mild bitter linger.
