(bottle) Clear, dark ruby colour with a thick beige foamy head, leaving lace-work. Molassy sweet malty nose with light notes of caramel and a shy whiff of grassy and herbal hops. Sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim and slightly syrupy malty base; sweet malty finish with flavours of molasses and traces of herbal hops, giving a little balance. Not bad for that sort of “beer” (25.08.08).

Etwas herber Malzantrunk, spritzig. Nur sehr wenig süß, im Mittelteil etwas herber und fast schon zu mild, hier könnte selbst ein süßer Ton nicht schaden. Erst spät setzt neben der weiterhin vorhandenen Herbe wieder ein typischer Malzton ein, die Süße bleibt weiterhin weit unter der Stärke anderer Malzbiere. Im Abgang wenig süß, das herbe Aroma wird stärker. Erfrischend, aber etwas zu wenig "Malzbier-mäßig". Test vom 12.4.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,10,9,10,11,10

Bottle: Dark brown colour with a brownish, lasting head; bigger sweet, malty nose (caramel) with some traces of Yeast, hops and a tinge of sourness; heavy sweet, caramel beginning, sweet, caramel taste with a tinge of hops turning into a bitter-sweet aftertaste; very full-bodied for a brew of this low alcoholic strength, well rounded; far better than most of the low-alcohol "beers"; the right stuff if You are not allowed to get drunk.....I like it !
