Slight apple aroma and flavor. Hasrdly any hopbitterness. Just a bit skunky. Another very mediocre Belgian pils.

Surprising to be the first. This is actually the bread-and-butter pilsener of Huyghe. The name refers to a 'very special' kind of barley, priced by lagerbrewers. (draught) Pale gold. Slim but good lacey white head. Very little nose - cold doesn't help. Very grainy taste, definitely lot of restsweetness. Very little bitterness. This is a very grainy/malty pilsener. Light mouthfeel. Even no bitterness in the aftertaste. Oh well. Swill.
