Bottled. Reddish brown colour with small slightly off-white head, which vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is mild roasted notes, some mild raisins, caramel and toffee as well. Flavour is rather similar with very little bitterness. Rather sweet Dunkel.

Clear brown of color with a small white head. An aroma of hay, malt, caramel and cereal. A flavor of hay, cereal, hops, citrus and malty.

Yummy! Poured into .5 l bier glass, deep brown reddish hues, with moderate carbonation. Almost no head on pour, and nothing once the beer has settled. Roast grains flavor come through on first taste, with minimal aftertaste. Not heavy at all....light in the mouth. Goes good with some good German winter food.

Bottle. A clear one, dark amber in color and with a finger-thick, off-white head. Slightly gushing. Roasted malts, dried fruits and some fennel hints. A touch of dms too. The flavor is much like the aroma, dried fruits, roasted malts and some dms. Medium body, quite dry. A quite decent one, but nothing impressive in any way. 110827

Medium beige head. Lovely reddish coppery body. Fruity earthy malty roasty aroma, impressively harmonic, with grassy hoppy cinnamon notes. Dry-sweetish earthy roasty malty taste with caramelly notes. Mild, smoothish mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry earthy toffeeish aftertaste with grassy metallic notes. Very nice, highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle from some Kiel supermarket.)
