Draft at The Casual Pint Falls Church. Poured a clear orange color with a small wispy off-white head. Aroma was mild tropical fruits, mild grain. Pleasant juicy character. Light floral notes, touch of bitterness.

Fairly clear copper and light orange coloured body with a very thin, one to two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, light biscuity malts with a light grain and subtle alcohol scent with no real hop bitterness, at least in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy, citrus and light herbal hop notes show at first, but without any alpha acids, however, some mellow biscuity malt and subdued caster sugar sweetness comes through, as well. Aftertaste is very clean and exceptionally easy-to-drink, with only som light orange and mellow sugars coming out at the end, with no real hop bitterness or any other complex notes at all. Overall, a super easy-drinking, non-bitter IPA that doesn't show any alpha acids or real juiciness, despite the name. Not worth grabbing, since the style is usually done much better than this, but i'm happy at least I got to try it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 28-January-2020 for US$2,20 sampled at home in Washington on 06-February-2020.

Sample at the taproom. Slightly hazy bright yellow color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of herbal hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of pithy grapefruit, resiny hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.
