200ml draught at Omnipollos Kyrka, shared with Finn. Remaining white head, spotty lacing, and a misty late straw coloured body. Wheat-fruity nose with a floral scent. Mixed taste of pale malts, mango, and some citric moments. Short bittersweet fruity finish. Just okay. (Sundbyberg, Stockholm, 03.11.2025).

Can from the LCBO. Lightly hazed pale amber with a lingering one finger white head that leaves some stringy lace. Nose has citrus, grass, peach and some melon. Flavour follows with a light melon sweetness and a medium- lemon peel bitterness. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation.

473ml can brewed in Toronto, not mentioning rice in the ingredient, nor anywhere else. Big, crazy, fruity aromas giving tropical fruit purée and some stone fruit juices. The taste still has the tropical-stone fruit side, but not overly sweet, and cut back with some nice hops. Lightly hazed, golden-yellow colour with a frothy-bubbly white cap, good retention and full, thicker lacing.

Trying again from the can, 473mL. Pours murky pale yellow with a white head. Light and juicy nose with floral hops and notes of melon. Flavour floral grass, lots of melon, some citrus peel; fairly full-bodied and juicy. Not getting much rice. Solid IPA.

[05/05/2025] On tap at The Bishops Arms Gamla Stan. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Grassy nose. Flavour has dry grass, some pine, pale malts; I guess some rice. Not particularly interesting, but nothing too wrong with it.

On tap at The Bishops Arms Gamla Stan, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is rather fruity, with soft pillowy notes, floral hops, and some melon. Flavour is gently bitter, with floral hops, melon, straw, and biscuity malt. Soft, floral palate, acting as a good vehicle for the hops. Good.

Pours a quite pale golden, transparent with a bit of haziness. Average sized, relatively frothy white head, good enough retention and nice lacing. Not much intensity in the aroma: a not too timid, clean, grainy malty base (hay, a hint of cereals) followed by low intensity citric notes (mainly lemonish, light tangerine) and maybe a hint of white grapes. A not unpleasant, light soapy feel underneath. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, there's very good definition and a quite refreshing feel, though not much intensity and surely not much depth. This one has a very clean, kind of dry, lager-like feel, most probably from the rice adjunct. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness, none standing out in both and aftertaste; very well balanced, almost neutral (maybe a bit too neutral). Light to slightly above light body, average carbonation (perhaps a tad lower than your average ipa); again, a crisp, clean, lager-like kind of carbonation. Feels overall pretty quaffable with a delicate hint of crispness. Overall: an enjoyable, quite refreshing ipa that could easily be mistaken for an IPL. But also a slightly empty, uninspired one in terms of depth and flavour. Probably not something i would look for again.

330ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur city centre. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a big lasting frothy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is grainy, fake sugar. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a somewhat light, watery, grainy, light herbal, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. I paid 10 Euros for this in Malaysia. I could get a can of Tiger for 2. Is this five times as good? Of course not … which is why craft beer sales are falling.
