500ml bottle [Thanks to bartlebier for giving access to the beers (including this one, of course) from Elzacher Löwenbräu!]. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, more or less white head. Slightly sweat-ish, bready aroma, some yeasty, spicy notes, hints of baked apple and baked banana. Taste is minimally tart with herbal hoppy overtones, wheaty, subtle sweetness, a touch of banana, quite watery, almost Kristallweizen-like. A bit anaemic and not much of a yeast-profile.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, bananig. Geschmack hefig, bananig fruchtig, minimal würzig.

50cl-bottle. Sehr schön bananiger Geruch, der Antrunk ist leicht wässrig, aber angenehm vollmundig und erfrischend. Zum Hauptteil kommt eine angenehme weiche Hefenote dazu, insgesamt wirkt das Bier aber etwas laff. Der Nachgeschmack ist mild-weich, leichte bananige Töne, sehr süffig. Aber irgendwie fehlt etwas an Körper bzw. Aroma. --> hat geschmacklich eher Anklänge an Leichtbier. Schade. 12/13/9/10

Pours a cloudy yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of banana, wheat, and vanilla. Flavor of banana, wheat, florals, clove, and subtle citrus.

Bügelverschlußflasche (kindly donated by Quack-Duck!): Deep golden, hazy, big and stable creamy white head, bubble-gum and raspberries in thesweetish-wheaty nose; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, very soft ad creamy, pretty slim; slightly increasing - but still mild - bitterness in the sweetish-fruity finish. A nice Weizen......

(swing top bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond and huge foamy head. Yeasty, slightly dusty wheat-malty aroma with shy notes of banana and strong phenolic spicy notes. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Wheaty and moderately banana-fruity taste with clovy notes showing up quite early and lingering into the mildly sweet finish. A tad to spicy for my liking. 04.IV.12

0.33L swing-top bottle - labeled Kleiner Löwe since it’s a smaller bottle). Banana, peach, clove, and wheat malt. Cloudy amber color with giant white head. Sweet banana, orange, light clove and wheat malt flavor. Body a bit watery. Not bad - a bit light.

Bottle @ Southern/Western Denmark Tasting, Ulfborg. Pours hazy yellow with a small creamy white head. Wheat, banana and yeast. Quite sweet. Medium to thin palate.

Bottle, 5.0%. Bubble gum aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is a bit sweet with some bubble gum. Not sugary. Some wheat mouthfeel and a little sourish graininess in the finish.
