[ As Martinsbräu Weizen Hefe Dunkel ].Unclear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, caramel, moderate yeasty, fruity, banana, leather - clove notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, caramel, yeast, phenol, fruity. 500ml bottle. Hazy mahogany colour with huge, frothy, beige head. Malty and yeasty aroma with a lemon touch, bready, minimally roasty, a touch of stored apple. Taste is dry, bready malty, minimally fruity, minimally spicy yeasty. Average.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Hazed murky orange/amber with moderate off white spotting/edgework. Nose is banana, yeast esters, clove, toffee. Taste comprises nana, toffee, yeast, spice pretty much as aroma. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dry close. So so Dunkelweizen.

Bottle. An unclear, dark amber colored beer topped by a dense, off-white head. The aroma is quite phenolic, cloves, caramel, some citrus and maltyness. Pretty sweet on the palate, full-bodied and quite carbonated. Cloves, citrus and caramel maltyness in the flavor. Rather short finish. Overall, sort of boring, but clean and still tasteful. 140228
