Bottle from Waitrose, West Byfleet. Aroma is malty with a sour dark fruit streak. Clear brown. Foamy off-white head. Medium sour dark fruit, berries and citrus. A touch of grainy bitterness. Underlying sugary sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough. Could cut down on the sugariness.

Bottle from Waitrose, East Grinstead. Pours a clear amber colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Aromas of caramel and biscuits and light notes of citrus and floral. Taste is more floral with caramel, biscuits, light citrus pith and a big earthy hop bitterness on the finish. Full body, fairly low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Wasn’t too sure at first but warmed to it the more i drank. Ok.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber, slightly off white head. Nose - light nuts, then caramel and honey. Taste - creamy caramel and honey. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy texture. A bit sweet on the finish. Overall - could be fresher on the finish.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a thin broken white head and lots of lace. The aroma is malt, light fruit, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, watery, stale woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Uninspiring.

Pint on tap at The Quadrant, Brighton. Nice lacing. Golden bronze beer with thin white head. Zero carbonation. Nose is hoppy, grassy, herbal. Quite light body, touches of malt at first. Sweet finish slowly becomes bitter and herbal. Nice pint, quite intense for a bitter.

500ml bottle. Gluten Free. Amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and grainy, sweet caramel aroma. Taste is malty, grain, bready & alittle fruity with earthy notes and metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.
