0.33 bottle. Nice amber color, sticky but not too big head. The aroma is slightly alcoholic, caramel malt, the hops come with a sour aroma here. Capricorn is carbonated enough to exist, nothing special comes up in taste. Sure fine beer, but I expect a little more from this category. Caramel is sweet but very thin, disembodied, watery.
***
Szép borostyán szín, tapadós, de nem túl nagy hab. Illata picit alkoholos, karamell malátás, a komló itt savanykás illattal jön elő. Bak létére elég szénsavas, semmi különleges nem jön elő ízben. Persze finom sör, de ettől a kategóriától kicsit többet várok. Karamelles édeskés, de nagyon vékony, testetlen, vizes. Földes utóíz.

Light amber color. Only a slight apple and stoney aroma. Sweetish and grainy with in fact a total lack of flavor. Some sweet apples and a hint of raisin maybe. Slight bitter aftertaste, not due to hops.

On draught in Barcelona. Grain and paper aroma. Clear copper-orange with full off-white head that has beautiful patterns down the glass. Flavor is faint malt, not robust to the style. Also, thin mouthfeel.

330 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 3/2019. Pours crystal clear medium orange/amber/light copper color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough/crust, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, nuttiness, caramel, pepper, wood, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big cracker, white bread dough/crust, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, nuttiness, caramel, pepper, wood, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough/crust, toasted biscuit, honey, nuttiness, caramel, pepper, wood, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a delicious Vienna Lager. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink, with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very clean and rich Vienna/Munich malt showcase, with nice earthy noble hop presence/balance. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 18, thanks to Mike. Pours clear copper, foamy off-white topping. Sweet caramel aroma, which continues to taste, fairly light body. Taste seems more in tune with a sweet doppelbock. Not too bad.
