Recently we had the pleasure of hosting our good friends from D.C, Bluejacket, for a long overdue collaboration at our spot. What we decided to craft up was a beer to serve as the perfect companion to their parent company's festival, Snallygaster. Introducing Schneller Geist, a low abv Märzen featuring 100% locally sourced grain from Murphy & Rude Malting Company. Brewed with an intentionally lower than style guidelines ABV, this beer carries a pleasant biscuity-malt aroma. As you sip it, the beer goes down with a wistful light crispness, then as that settles a deeper malt complexity starts to come into the fold. Perfect for long festival days, we look forward to sharing a few with you all, and also with the amazing crew from Bluejacket.
