Das typisch fränkische Göller Lager war das erste Bier, das bei uns in der Bügelflasche abgefüllt wurde. Der mild-würzige und liebliche Geschmack regt zum Weitertrinken an. Man bekommt nur schwierig genug!

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma is sweet with clean notes of brew mash and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of straw and a clean malt profile, leading to a dry bitter finish with a light floral hoppy note.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden coloured, big fluffy, slowly collapsing off-white head; fruity bisquity-grainy and intensive floral hoppy nose; strong bitter, moderate sweet flavour, soft MF; lingering aromatic-hoppy finish, mainly dry, but supported by a light sweetness. A decent, nice Landbier !

(swing top bottle, bought at the brewery tap) Clear, deep golden colour with a thick and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly sweet malty earthy aroma with herbal hops and a touch of caramel and honey. Moderately sweet flavour; light to medium body and carbonation. Soft malty, slightly toasted, honey-ish fruity taste with balanced herbal hops; medium-dry, slightly bitter finish. Solid Landbier.

Bitterer und herber Mittelteil, der ein würziges Aroma kaum hochkommen lässt. Im Abgang zu bitter. Ein langweiliges und nur mittelmäßig gelungenes Bier. Test vom 8.6.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,9,6,10,7 - 7,75

Re-rate from bottle: Still quite nice, but certainly a lot less hops than last time. Balanved more towards a bready, honeyish maltyness this time around. Bottle
7 5 7 3 13 Pretty dark amber, amber full creamy head. Fresh aromatic and grassy hop nose. Fruity malt baseline, light bodied with a elegant aromatic hop play and a fine bittterhop finish. Sparkly mouthfeel. Elegant pale lager, must be the best of this style I have tried to date.
