12 oz. can. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a small, foamy, beige head. Mellow toffee and caramel, with some pine sap and clover honey. Sweet and malty up front, with a nice, easy bitterness. Medium body, sticky, a little chalky, and kinda oily. This is a fairly solid, well balanced amber ale.

A can at Old Faithful in Yellowstone NP. Overly bitter amber ale, very unbalanced, not sure what they were going for. Should have left it, but strict rules about leaving foodstuffs available for bears. Not recommended.

Can from the Canyon General Store in Yellowstone National Park. Pours amber with a large beige head. Aroma of mildly treacly malt with a little citrus. Med body. Flavor is mild treacle with a little hard to pin down hop. Last resort for those who want strong flavors. First resort for those who don’t.

On Tap: good amber color with a moderate off white head. Blend of malts, a bit of roastiness, caramels, light hops, and a bit of citrus sweet. Medium in intensity, but pleasant overall.
