A hazed golden ale with an extra frothy thick off white head. Aroma of rising bread, coriander, green limes, and herbs. In mouth, a nice light sweet candy sugar, with orange peels, creamy mouthfeel, light metallic hops, and warming alcohol finale. Real nice. Bieropholie import.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a foamy white head over a hazy golden body. Aroma of bread, alcohol, pear and light spice. Taste is buttery, fruity and a bit dry and spice. Slightly bitter. Light bubbles and a watery mouthfeel. Par for the course.

Bottle found back in the cellar. Slightly hazy orangeish golden colour with huge whit e fluffy head. Aroma is fruity and flowery with some yeasty and herbal hints. Flavour is pretty much the same along with some alcohol. Aftertaste is dominated by earthyness and some alcoholic burn.

Bottle, Barleycorns, Nantwich. Hazy orangey gold colour with a biggish white head. Aroma was slightly sweet and floral with some citrus and a hint of clove. Flavour was quite booze heavy with similar characteristics to the aroma..Dryish finish. Just above average Tripel.

Bottle, 8%. Very yeasty aroma, like baking yeast. There is also some sweet light malts and alcohol in the aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is sweet, malty and alcoholic in good balance. Has a little yeast in the aftertaste, and otherwise a good, warming alcohol note.

On tap at ZBF 08. Gold, slight haze, thin beige head. It’s a pretty decent tripel, does what you would expect with some white stone/tropical fruit, Belgian yeast.

Bottle 75cl. Unclear yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, citrus, moderate yeasty, barnyard, tropic fruits, tart, apricot, sulphur. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, a tart and citric dry dusty finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. You couldn’t make it up could you ? [i]Bottle at National Winter Ales Festival, Manchester 2008 [/i] Poured hazy golden colour without much of a head, although a good degree of carbonation. Tropical fruits stick out quite prominently as does a nice sweetness and then slight tartness, some yeastiness and spices start to show also, really rather decent.
