473ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, slightly piney, minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, oaty and wheaty malty background, notes of lemon, lemongrass, some woody pineapple, a touch of quince and kumquat, limoncello and lemon peel. Taste is moderately bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, oaty and slightly wheaty malty basis with very low residual sweetness, notes of lemon, lemon peel, some kumquat, zesty bitterness, mild citric tartness.
Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, dense, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Wonderful, multifcatted nose with quite some subtleties, more restrained, lemon-focussed taste, light, refreshing, drinkable - pretty good.

0,473l can from Drikbeer online store. Canned 02/26/25. Murky light yellow beer with good and stable head. Aroma and flavor is malts, hops, fruity notes and yeast. Quite dry, easy, hoppy and clean. Bit watery.

Draft pour at Dominion Wine and Beer. Poured a slightly hazy, light orange, yellow color with a small, wispy head. Creamy, some dusty hop. Light bitterness, orange zest. I normally like Citra, but maybe this needed some additional dimension to it.

Could crush these. So much flavor. R+B’s castle series is up there with Fidens for pale ales.

Grilling up some chicken, edible, thinking about Gay Lincoln. Just a typical Friday night.

Root + Branch The Castle Hazy APA: Citra 5.5% Very hazy honey straw gold with big bubbly soapy white foam. The aroma is cilantro and orange blossoms with loads of juicy elements. Very smooth soft body. Sweet tarts Citra flavor, really well integrated. Well worth trying.

Lemon balm and lime. Unripe mango. Murky yellow pour. Cleanish finish without most of the green onion than plagues many hazies. Good stuff. Can.
