Pinkish color, huge frothy head. Slight raspberry aroma. Yeasty raspberry flavor, yeasty bitter aftertaste. Disappointing fruit beer that promises more than it delivers. Re-rate: somewhat aged bottle. Pinkish orange color, cloudy. Strong raspberry juice aroma, seems rather natural. Flavor has a mix of raspberry sweetness, and a caramelly bitterness. Some perfumed citric sourness. Nice flavors and aroma but lacking in balance. Sticky mouthfeel. The tap version is even more perfumed, with a strong raspberry and citrus aroma and an earthy bitterness.

Top-fermented fruit beer with raspberry juice. Very rocky, dense, high and stable, off-pinkish head, colour a deep cherry red, misty after adding deposit so clearly bottle-fermented. Fresh raspberry odour, sweetish but fortunately not sugary or lemonade-like, some lemon peel, vanilla, bread, gingerbread. Soft and bready malty taste, quickly overpowered by a refreshing ’real’ fruit acidity, raspberry coming right after but again no sugary lemonade effect, finishing dryish. Top-fermented fruit beers are not my favorite, but this one is honest, artisanal and well-made, I have to admit.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein kupferfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr fruchtig nach Himbeeren. Geschmack süß nach Himbeeren, leicht säuerlich.

I thought this one would have the taste of real raspberry, but it turned out to be a sweet articifial taste. A shame.

Dobre piwo malinowe. Piana spora i nie bylo to jednak slodkie piwo, wrecz przeciwnie lekko kwaskowate, piana spora i trwala. Kolor czerwonu i metny, a po dolaniu resztek zrobilo sie bardzo metne i brudne. Maliny jeszcze bardziej sie narzucaja w smaku. Dobra robota i krachla wystrzelia z hukiem.

Bottle. Hazy purple color, medium off pink head. Aroma of citrus and yeast. Taste is summer fruit, raw bread, subtle sourness. Not bad.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Cloudy hazy dark red color, big white head. Smells very sweet, lightly fruity. Taste sweetness, grape-peel, raspberry. Slightly weird aftertaste. Medium carbonation, medium body.

Clear red brown colour, pinkish white head. Aroma of malts and raspberries. Some higher alcohols. Quite sweet. Flavour of malt and raspberry. Just not complex raspberry, more one-dimensional. I think adding just juice and not whole raspberries to the brew has made it less complex. Sweetish, but with a dry ending. Not the best framboise I’ve ever tasted.
