Bottle: Pale golden, hazy, with a quite stable creamy head; a faint tinge of vanilla in the soft sweet-fruity (oranges, bananas) nose; mild sweetish flavour with a very faint sourish touch; a tinge of hops wawing through the sweet-fruity finish. Almost not tart, mild Weizen.............

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a longlasting white head. Sweet fruity yeasty malty banana aroma. Sweet malty wheat flavor with spicy yeasty hints and hints of bananas. Sweet fruity yeasty finish with some hints of bananas in the aftertaste.

50 cl bottle: Pours muddy orange with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is of wheat & lots of banana. Very sweet almost cloying. Banana dominates all the way.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a diminishing and slight fizzy head. Mild woody wheat aroma. Fizzy mouthfeel. Mild bubblegum note. Flavour is soft wheat flavoured and malty with a mild bubblegum note, not too bad. Ends with mild sweetness. Decent.

Draft. An unclear orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of wheat and lighter notes of banana.

(bottle) Cloudy yellow colour with a big and stable foamy white head. Shy yeasty and wheaty aroma with some banana-fruity aspects. Light-sweet flavour, light body, sparkling carbonation. Slim and quite short light clovy finish. Unspectacular but fairly drinkable and refreshing Weizen.

From old notes, 2006, when I visited Bamberg and stayed in Maisel's Gasthof. Pale cloudy yellow colour, nice small white head. Aroma's: wheaty sour, sweetish with light banana. Flavour is light sweet, wheaty. Light bodied. Rather high carbonation. Finishes with hints of spices and citrus.
