2002 version. Apricot aroma. Sweet taste with an apricot fruitiness and a slight hopbitterness. Just a hint of sourness. Full bodied. Hopbitter finish. 1997 version, tasted 22.07.03Slightly smoky sherry aroma, no head, hardly any lacing. Sweet sherry flavor, sugary and thin. Cheap sweets flavor. Alcohol. Way past its peak, but still pleasant enough to drink.

[2004 vintage] Clear deep golden with tiny short lasting head. Aroma is somewhat oxidized but holds notes of overripe fruits. Sweet fruity flavor with notes of yeat, caramel and toasted malt.

33 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy with a lacing white head. Aroma is spiced and slight oxidised. Sweet malty flavour. Light spice note in the finish. Flavour is more fresh than the aroma. Ends with a lingering sweet caramel malt and light fruity note.

(Bottle 30 cl) Vintage 2003 - apparently the recipe changes every year. The back-label claims that this is both top- AND bottom-fermented. I’ve seen this before but still don’t understand the principle. Dark amber, filtered, no head to talk about. Malty and sweet with a rather discreet hoppiness. Fine if not exactly thrilling. (Had somehow expected a wheat-beer "Witte", but I reckon "Witte Kerst" just means "White Christmas".) 280405

An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sour malty while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and hay.

Orange-amber color. Cheap aroma: corn, paper. Sweet lager. Just a charamel character, at the end. Boring.

2002 version: Clear orange color, ''rocky'' head, small and large bubbles. Flowery hop aroma. Bit sweet bitter malty taste. Strong Pilsener-like indeed.
