Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: clean golden yellow color with a two finger white foamy head slyly dissipating to messy lace
Aroma: orange pulpy hop tones, berry hop tones, clean malts
Flavor: bittersweet orange and berry hoppiness; mild malts; quick aftertaste of orange and berry hoppiness
Texture: almost medium bodied - just a bit under, semi-smooth along my tongue; finishes with the orange and berry hoppiness
Overall: I dig this take on a NE pale ale, I'd have again.

Tap @ Prime 16, New Haven. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich tropical fruits, bitter hops, citrus, malt and flowers. Nice bitter and fruity finish.

Taster pour on tap at CT Brew Fest/half pour at the brewery. It's an opaque, milky dark yellow-slight light brown with thin cap of off-white creamy head with fair retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is good strength citrus and grapefruit with milder musky herb. Taste is strong musky herb, citrus and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not breaking new ground but this is a strong early version of NEIPA.
