Shell King is the big brother to our Hoppy Session Ale, Tiny Shells. It’s hopped in the whirlpool with Simcoe and Citra and dry-hopped with a combination of Chinook, Simcoe, Waimea, and Amarillo. Shell King is packed with all the crushable passion fruit, orange, and grapefruit notes you expect from Tiny Shells.

On tap at Hamilton Tap & Grill in Hamilton, NJ. Cloudy pale gold pour. Dense creamy beige head. Sharp citrus aroma hints at grapefruit. Flavor brings more of the same. Grapefruit, orange, passion fruit and lime. Soft mouthfeel. Green onions and pine in finish.

Can. Pours hazy yellow. Grapefruit, lemon, little bitterness, slightly chalky, little tropical. Medium body. Fine.

Can from Chris: pours slightly hazy with white head. Aroma is grapefruit, some slight tropical notes. Kind of neither here nor there. Not super juicy or bitter. Whatever.
