Bottle 50 c. Golden, clear, large-bubble white head. Aroma: malty, slightly grassy, grainy and candy-like. Taste: malty, dense, shortbread and a little bready, slight hop bitterness with a grassy profile.

Pours clear blonde. Medium sized, stable creamy white head. Scent is grainy, fresh maltyness. Mild grassy hops. Taste is slick, some DMS, seemingly a bit diacetyl. Medium body and carbo. Not that off, but certainly could be improved a bit. Slick, sweetish finish, sticky. Not as crisp as hoped.

Flip top bottle. Hazy, medium gold color. Medium head, some lace. Aroma is a light grain with notes of alcohol. Taste is grains with nice balance.

0.5 l bottle, a gift from Germany, shared with my father. Pours clear golden with huge frothy head. Swetish aroma that is not so pleasant, with hints of corn. Its taste, however, is much better bittersweet with long lasting finish. Light bodied, softly carbonated. Decent lager.

500 ml swingtop bottle, bought at Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 5.4%. Crystal clear (filtered?) pale yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Very moderate carbonation in the glass and mouth. Aroma of grassy hops. The flavour has some malty sweetness, some grassiness and a substantial hoppy bitterness, while the alcohol shows an unexpected presence for a 5.4% beer. God knows what makes this a Landbier - it looks and tastes more like a filtered Dortmunder Export to me. Anyway, drinkable it is.

Donker geel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is Bitterzoet en licht kruidig met iets van graan en wat honing.

7-5-7-3-14 Bottle, seven months before bbd. Pours clear yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is yeast and pilsner malts with hay, bread and honey, as well as floral hops. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is fruity yeast and floral hops, as well as pilsner malts with bread crust, hay and heather.
