Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown in color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark fruits, caramel/toffee malts, barrel/woody vibes, touch of vanilla, some earthy sweetness
Flavor: mirrors the prior noted aromas sweetly in a woody to earthy and fruity sort of way; dark fruity/woody barrel finish
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper; some smoothness but also a trickle of barrel spice nipping at the tongue
Overall: pretty nicely done barrel aged barleywine, wish I could get that again. Eh, oh well, there's other greatness out there.

On tap at Arts and Crafts Amsterdam Ave. Pours dark brown. Biscuit, caramel, light bitterness, toffee, dried fruit. Medium body. Solid.

On tap at Ginger Man NYC. Pours hazy amber with a beige head. Fruit cake, caramel, alcohol. Not bad.
