Bottle bought at the Ostsee and drunk in Pustertal, Italy. Cloudy golden straw with a massive sea foam head. Spicy, earthy farmyard hay in the nose, smooth sweet-malty on the tongue. Enjoyable but could use a bit more hops in the balance.

Bottle. Clear pale gold/yellow with a good white head. Aroma of spicy and floral hops, minerals and grains. Taste of grains, bread, malts, straw and minerals with a nice spiciness. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Very süffig. Don’t be fooled by the name though as this isn’t a Zwickel or Kellerbier but a decent Export.

0.5 l bottle from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr), best before December 2020. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy and a little floral aroma of grains, some straw and a touch of honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit floral taste of grains, some straw and traces of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Lager, quite pleasant.

Malty, perfumed aroma and flavor. And what else? Not much. A bit of hops, maybe. An earthy flavor in which you can taste the barnyard of Franconian petty farmers, so typical for the region. A bit disappointing.

Bottle imported by mum and dad and shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 30.06.18. Clear golden. Bright white head. Aroma and taste of pilsner malt and fresh grass. Good drinkability.

0,5 flaske med vippekork, delt med skibsrederen, på fordekket i sommervarmen: klar gylden med ok skum. Mild aroma og smak med urter, gress og høy. Tørr, avrundet bitterhed i afslutningen.

In Geruch und Trunk maischig, herb, süßlich, mittig kernig, wenig Nachhall. Eigentlich wie das Pils nur weniger bitter. Allerweltsbier.
