Green bean nose, with emphasis on the actual bean, quite shitty. Crystal clear golden, medium white head, good lacing. Grainy then beany, tangy. An awful lot of beans remain on the palate. Bitter grass present in the finish as well. I haven’t had a lot of landbiers, but I don’t like this one much.

Euro Market, Queens 500ml ($3.49): Pours a golden color with a white head. Grassy, skunky, and almost a sour aroma going on there. Kind of watery at the front, but goes into some nice mild hops coupled with good bready malts. Leaves a little bit of an aftertaste. Pretty good, but nothing special.

50cl swing top pours clear water gold with bright white head. The modest aroma emits some spicy hops, floral hops and a background of vague sweetness. The taste is kind of lagery yeast and sugary sweet malts mixing with modest levels of floral and spicy hops.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Poured into a Ceramig mug. Golden with a large white head and lacings. A bit of yeast and vegetables. Otherwise grass and grain. Clean and very dry and fairly hoppy. Smooth and medium bodied.

0.5L swing-top bottle. Golden colour with moderate and ultra compact white head. Very earthy, lots of grains, grass and yeast. Very low carbonation, medium body, long hoppy finish. A nice surprise from an offer shelf.

Boring yellow appearance with little head. Aroma is heavy on the hops and sugar. Flavour is a weak barley-caramel mix that isn’t interesting at all. But then, again, not offensive.

bottle, traded with MoritzF - Danke! Clear golden colour with a creamy white head - lovely fragrant flowery hoppy nose. Full-bodied, malty with lots of bitter hops and a nice perfumy flowery accent. Spicy finish.
