Rhubarb | 2021 Harvest is a blend of two traditionally brewed spontaneously fermented beers brewed in the Fall of 2019 and Spring of 2020. In the Spring, our team made the trip to get rhubarb from a 105-year-old patch in New Jersey. The rhubarb stalks were split and added directly to oak at a rate of over 4 lbs per gallon.At bottling, this beer had an average age of 26 months. It has been conditioning with young spontaneously fermented beer since its bottling in 2022. Rhubarb | 2021 pours a burnt yellow color with a firm white foam, with aromatics of peach and flavor notes of fruit cup and lemon meringue.
