Draught at Jenkintown: pours slightly hazy with white head. Aroma is grainy, fair bit of grass. Taste is spelty, grainy, on the more bitter end. Very full flavored lager.

16 ounce can from Jenkintown brewery. Medium gold pour. Whipped cream white head settles to a moderate cover. Spotty lacing. Purposeful grainy malt aroma hints at puffed rice and hay. Flavor upfront is earth and spice. Bitter and dry, as advertised. Yet, there is a simplicity in the character and pedigree of this quaffable brew. A hint of citrus zest closes this nicely.
