Dark, diabolical, divine. Notes of black chocolate, warm bread, and a touch of charred wood. Czech-grown Saaz & Kazbek hops lend a layer of earthy spice, and floor-malted Bohemian pils malt keeps it smooth and crisp. Death becomes us all, eventually. Fortunately eternal damnation never tasted so good.

Can (2/16/22) pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. It's a hazy, dark, dark brown (cola/root beer) with light sparkle, 2-finger rocky tan head with decent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is earthy, toasted malts, hint of molasses. Taste is rich, roasted malts, dark chocolate, earth, mild brown bread. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good strength to taste and decent complexity. Good, especially for ABV.

BGH: pours near black with a light beige head. Aroma is light pretzel and roast. Taste is dry and bitter pretzel. Very light, little sweetness. Solid.
