16 ounce can from brewery. Deep copper red color. Frothy beige head. Toasted malt aroma has bready, earthy notes. Flavor is toasty and sweet. A bit of toffee, currants, herbal hops. Soft mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Pure and easy.

Can, courtesy of Chris M. Pours brown. Toffee, hedgerow, blackberry, chocolate, hint of earthiness. Nice soft full body. Excellent.

From Chris M: pours amberish brown with off white head. Aroma is malty, dark fruits, almost like a dubbel sans the Belgian yeast. Taste is sweet, low bitterness, delectable maltiness. One of the best Alts I ever had.
