At Maakunβs place. Eerste wat opvalt is enorme bitterheid van aanwezige hop, bijna BIPA! Dan wordt t toch ineens Haagse hopjes zoetig en zacht. Backlog from 2015/05/15.

Pretty nicely done. Light citrus tinge apparent through big roast and some peat smoke. Pours black with mocha head and great lacing. Good hybrid. Bitter and light citrus tang finish. Bottle from Whole Foods.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co, Clekenwell - London. Many thanks to Wingman Willis. Pours rich brown with a frothy, beige head. Hard roast in the nose, some dry chocolate, scorched earth. Light sweet flavor, ashy, with notes of oily chocolate and lightly tangy dark fruits. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Ashy bitter finish with further baking cocoa. Eh, so so.
