Bottle. Pours near black with a bit of sediment and a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of dark grains with some dry roasted malts with just a bit of bitterness in the finish. Flavor has a bit more of a dry hop bitterness with some roasted malts and some dark grains.

330 ml bottle. Clear, deep ruby red body with a big, creamy beige head. Nice aroma of dark light roasted malt and chocolate. Some citric fruity hops in the background. Flavor is medium sweet, light roasted, fruity and quite bitter. The finish has a dry bitterness that almost feels a bit acidic. Still smooth and pleasant. Fine balanced body and good aftertaste.

Mørk brun med høyt beige skum. Lukter melkesjokolade, brunt sukker og maltekstrakt. Saltbitter smak, noe sødme og alkohol som sitter lenge.

0.33 l bottle from ’Hetbiermoment.nl’. Clear, very dark red to black with a massive, dense, almost stable, tan to brown head. Sweetish-fruity, slightly roasty aroma of mainly passion fruit and mango with dark chocolate and some coffee in the background. Sweetish, roasty-malty and fruity-resiny taste of dark chocolate, licorice, tar, mango, passion fruit and some pine, followed by a short, medium bitter, roasty and resiny finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, very lively carbonation. Very tasty and well-balanced!

very dark brown colour with reddish notes, huge, long lasting creamy beige head; aroma of citruses, chocolate and coffee notes, maybe some toffee, too; taste is bit less complex and almost fully dominated by roasted bitterness with some citruses, minimal caramel and ash; ’east india porter ’- quite tricky name for a black IPA :-)
