Malty, just a bit smokey aroma. Malty taste with a bit of toast, pear and hops. A Hint of licorice. On the thin side for a bock beer.

Bottle - as Drachengold. Amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy off-white head, that slowly collapses to a stable beige layer. Sweet caramel and toasted malt and distinctive herbal hops in the nose. Solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied. Lingering toasty finish with a long hoppy aftertaste. Very well balanced, hoppy Bock, moreish in any case.......

bottle, thank you MoritzF! Clear brown colour, large beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, intensively malty but not too sweet. Shy fruity character with hints of dried fruit, e.g prunes and raisins. Spicy and aromatic hoppy finish.

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a thick and dense, light-beige foamy head. Sweet, slightly toasted malty aroma with anise, a touch of caramel and lighter, subtle fruity hops in the background. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a pleasantly calm carbonation. Aromatic and moderately toasted malt-profile with spicy anise-like accents; medium-dry, malt-accented finish, rounded up with spicy and herbal hoppy notes. A rounded brew (08.X.08).

Bottled. A copper colored beer with a fast disappearing beige head. The aroma is of caramel and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and alcohol.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Very roasted malt aroma. Quite full-bodied, very clean malt base with a distinct, sweetish roasted feel - even some overripe fruit. The bitterness is very discreet. Lovely. 290607
