When the sweltering heat of summer breaks, fresh hop season kicks into high gear. The race to get these hops from the bine to brew is much of the fun. Soft citrus, tender spruce tips, and a delicate floral bouquet characterize this full (and fleeting) style.

Aromas are resin, melon, stone and tropical fruits with a little bit of house dust. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, slightly on the sweet side, soft carbonation and a bittersweet finish. Pretty good but not great.

Draught at Threes: pale yellow slightly hazy. Aroma is mellow fruitiness with herbal notes. Low bitterness. Biscuity malts.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy gold. Grapefruit, lemon, pine, grain, light bitterness. Medium body. Good.
