Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Hildigöltur/Dixen. Clear yellow with a white head. Lightly malty nose. Thin and watery with unclean malt accents, some cardboard and a dry and lightly bitter finish. 220309

Draught @ Hövels Dortmunder, Hoher Wall 5-7, 44137 Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, fruity, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090305]

Bottle, 2.8%. 10 months past BB date. Weak bready aroma. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is mildly bready. The bitterness a little rough. OK for ABV.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Mild citric to grassy aroma. Slight grassy flavoured with a flat malt base. Dry and bitter finish, thin body.

Bottle: Straw-golden coloured, lively carbonation, firm, creamy head like beaten egg-white; shy, dryish malty background in the distinctive grassy-hoppy nose; light bitter-sweet flavour, watery MF; bready, grainy finish with a grassy hoppiness in the aftertaste. Not undrinkable....

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Grassy, slightly herbal hoppy nose with a slightly sweet malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a well-carbonated but watery mouthfeel. Slim and soft malty base, light herbal notes; dryish, slightly bitter finish. Not the worst of the style.

Der Geruch verspricht ein einigermaßen gutes Bier, der Geruch ist herb-frisch, wie man ihn auch von einigen anderen Bieren dieser Art kennt, aber auch leicht fruchtig. Das Aroma geht soweit in Ordnung, auch wenn der Geruch mehr versprochen hatte. Säuerlich und metallern im Mittelteil, im Nachgeschmack dann einigermaßen herb. Test vom 18.12.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,5,7,2,5 - 5,60
