On tap. Clear amber in color with a creamy head that lingers. Flavor is robust roasted caramel malt with a lightly herbal bitter finish. Floral notes in the aroma. An interesting and well balanced Märzen.

On tap at Two Brothers Tavern, this was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a slight transparent amber to orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. Extremely minimal lacing, barely there.
The smell starts off with some roasty nuts, sweet glossy caramel tones and delicate toffee all blend nicely.
The taste was mainly sweet with a sticky sweet caramel aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a stickiness leaning to cloying, but gently allows some carbonation to ride into the balance of it all.
Overall, not a bad Oktoberfest, probably could have again.

Golden color with a white head with medium duration. Aroma hasnotes of noble hops, herbal hints and cookie hints. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning with good maltiness and mild bitterness in the final. Enjoyable.

11.2 fl oz green bottle purchased as a single at Cork and Barrel 23rd Street in Lawrence, Kansas. 05.2016 on label. The pour is a clear copper brown with a 1 inch foamy off white head that lasts nicely. The aroma is skunk initially, then opens to a faint caramel malt. The taste is caramel malt, along with a bit of a nut flavor and then moves towards grass in the back. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation, finish is grass along with a bit of the skunk that reappears in the aftertaste.

On tap at Prost! Pours out a dark cola brown with off white fluffy head. Sweet, nutty malts dominate aroma and taste. Sweetness, but a biting bitter finish. Slightly different than the norm, but pretty solid.
