0,5 l swing top bottle. Clear dark amber in the glass with a nearly two finger light beige head. Malt with some grain and sweetness on the nose. Taste is malty, followed by a short fruity sequence, caramell, smooth grain. Low bitterness. Quaffable. Nice.

Pecan, honey, kibble nose. Clear tea, headless. Sweet kibble, coffee hints, tree bark. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Flasche 0,5l: Kastanienbraun mit wenig Schaum; Kräftig würzige Nase mit leichter Nussigkeit, Maronen und ertwas Glühweingewürz, kräftig würziger Körper mit dunkler Süße, allerdings kaum CO2 (undicht?), daher etwas fad, angenehmer Bitterkeit im Abgang

Clear, deep copper colored, small off white non lasting head. Aroma is of caramunich malt, nuts, bit toast and bread. Taste is medium- sweet malt, caramel, nutty, bit toasty, bready dough, some low+ grassy bitterness, dryish finish. Medium- bodied, flat carbonation.

Reddish brown colour, white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, cabbage. Sweet malty flavour, caramel, Finish malts and caramel.

Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Bright amber / red colour with light frothy white head. Aroma is buttery diacetyl, grainy pilsener malts. Flavour is dirty grassy bitterness, butter, grains, nutty malts. Medium palate, slightly stale overall.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Clear dark amber color, average sized beige to light brown head that leaves fair lacing. Smell and taste malts, cardboard, dark sugar, slightly sweetish. Low to average body and carbonation. Meh.

Bottle @ benzai. Dark amber colour with a medium sized head. Smells very malty, sweet. Tastes sweet, malty, slightly chocolate or something. Pretty nice dunkel. Medium body, soft carbo.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Bamberg to Nuremberg, 26/01/14. Dark amber with a moderate off white head that retains. Nose is bready malt, toffee, brown sugar. Taste comprises grain, brown bread, malts, toffee, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so Dunkels.

Bamberg Bash Day 3. Train swig. Almost clear amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Tangy malts, little dried fruits. Whispers of dark malt chocolate and smoke. Light dry finish. Interesting.
